There has been a significant advancement in the way we understand neurodevelopmental disorders, including those on the spectrum (ADHD, OCD, Autism, Anxiety, Sleep, Mood, etc.).  One major discovery is that children who are on the spectrum often have retained their primitive neurological reflexes.  The continued presence of primitive reflexes, beyond the age where they were supposed to be extinguished (<1 year of age), indicates that there may have been an interference in the sequential development of the central nervous system. My name is Dr. Mike Schultz and at my Burlington (Ontario) clinic I have been helping children who struggle with neurodevelopmental disorders for over 19 years.  Care in our office focuses on strategies that are geared towards helping children with neurodevelopmental disorders overcome their milestone hang-ups. Our clinical approach focuses on assisting a child’s central nervous system to function more optimally and through this strategy we are having great success.

At our office we focus (scope) on dysfunctions or disorders arising from the structures or functions of the spine and the effects of those dysfunctions or disorders on the nervous system.
